I am not a big fan of the adage “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!”. It is pretty lame and gives no credit to the nimbleness of the human brain, or the ability to leverage new tools to support change. We here at PPP have always strived to make the AHFP the best darn pool around – always seeking to create solid user experiences and evolving how we do things. For this year’s AHFP, we have fully embraced the use of AI to help The Chairman navigate the crazy winds of change in the NCAA. Utilizing some help from AI, we have resolved a clashing plaid and stripes game submission form with something much more innovative. Last year, the good people of AHFP Nation were forced to deal with a cumbersome interface to accommodate the 12 team NCAA CFP tournament. I admit, it kinda sucked but it was a manageable process, and you were all very gracious to not give me static for it. With betterment in mind, I humbly submit to you the 2025-26 version of the AHFP. The Games interface is completely overhauled and adaptive to support the tournament style motif through the entire process. No more goofy selection cycles where you have to remember what you picked – the new form remembers what you chose and brings it down to the next round of the playoffs. I must admit, it is pretty elegant. I really hope you like it! No real change to the number of games or architecture – still 25 total games to choose and the same game weighting for the Playoffs.
